A Spoonful of Recipes

Here we wanted to show you how easy it is to include adaptogens in your lifestyle! The herbal blends from Balanced Pantry can be added to your diet in many ways; as drinks, in smoothies or your breakfast cereal and even to give your nut butters a healthy boost. Get some inspiration from our recipes below. 

 

Sexy Hot Chocolate

2 Tsp Cacao or Cocoa powder
1 tsp 'A Spoonful of Love' adaptogenic blend
1/4 tsp Cinnamon/Nutmeg or a combination of the two
Pinch of Salt
1 Cup Milk of choice
1 tsp Pure Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp Honey or Sweetener of choice

Warm the milk up to desired temperature. Mix all the ingredients into a paste with around 2 Tbsp of the heated milk, then add the rest of the milk.

 

Superfood Nut Butters

Almond/Peanut Butter + Glow Milk
Peanut/Cashew Butter + A Spoonful of Love

Mix 1 cup nut butter with 3 tsp of your chosen blend. Use within

 

Choc Berry Overnight Oats

4 Tbsp Oats
2 tsp Chia Seeds
1 tsp Cacao
1 tsp 'A Spoonful of Love' adaptogen blend
1 tsp Strawberry/Raspberry jam
1/2 tsp Honey or Sweetener of your choice
1/2 Cup Milk of your choice

Combine all the ingredients, cover and refrigerate overnight. Top with berries the next morning. 

 

Choco Turmeric Latte

2 tsp of Cacao or Cocoa
1 tsp of Glow Milk
1 cup Milk of choice
1/2 tsp of Honey or Sweetener of choice

Warm milk and mix all ingredients with 2Tsp of milk until a paste forms. Then stir in the rest of the milk and enjoy!

 

Yummy Morning Smoothie

1 Banana
1 tsp of Glow Milk
1 cup Milk of choice
1 tsp of Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Ice
1/2 tsp of Honey or Sweetener
